I had 8 days skiing in Les Arcs, France in mid-Jan. There were 6 days of sunshine and clear blue sky, followed by huge snowfalls.

"Sportstracklive" is a great mobile app for logging and monitoring all your leisure activities !! It uses the built-in GPS to record tracks, routes and waypoints with map, sat view, statistics etc.
Tracks can be uploaded to the website where they can be viewed by friends with map or satellite views. Great for running, walking, cycling etc
